It was really, it was, I mean, we've known each other.
We've sort of are, we lived in, the two guys are now back in Ireland, but we lived in the same area here in Kilburn and Queen's Park.
And our kids at the time were being looked after by this Donegal woman in this little house in Queen's Park here.
And we used to pick up our tiny little toddlers and the three of us on the couch sort of looking at our toddlers.
We've sort of been around one another for a long time.
and you know we always wanted to do something together and to do it like and just put it on film and know that it sort of it exists for like forever yeah it was really really beautiful and to see both of them like now of course middle-aged and grown up and these like careers that they've had and i was looking at them berlin when we sort of went we opened the festival there and i was looking at them
I was like, oh, I was it was I was so proud, you know, like of our sort of friendship that it sort of we've maintained it.
Yeah.
And very supportive of one another always, for sure.
So, yeah, it was it was I'm just I'm delighted, you know, that that film exists and it's there and, you know, forever.
I think there was a huge amount of hurt.
And like, you know, for her, I think it was hard.
And, you know, Eileen's an incredible woman.
And it took like, but it took like a couple of years and I felt awful.
And Cillian, it was all that sort of thing.
No, I was just the writer, but the producers, I mean, it was like, that's hard because she originated that role.
Would have been a very, very different thing.
It was, it was really, really hard for, for, for all of us, for sure that that happened.
And, you know, but she is a, she's a diamond, you know, like, and she's very clear.
