Yeah, bloody hurt, but she sort of got over it eventually, but it hurt.
Oh, God, I think she's the greatest.
And when I feel a bit like sort of creatively a little bit like, you know, nervous, I listen to her just to remind me to be absolutely brave about the work and just keep on pushing it.
I mean, she's the master really for me.
Yeah, really uncompromising, particularly sort of this album, The Dreaming, is really amazing.
But all the way through her career, I mean, she's just been sort of like pushing and pushing and pushing it.
And it's not, you know, it won't be for everyone's sort of taste, but it's definitely for my taste.
Yeah, I mean, I have done sort of commercial stuff.
It's not really my world, really, like once and, you know, musicals and stuff like that.
But my default is just the way I sort of see the world, like my point of view.
And you just have to sort of listen to your instinct and, you know.
And I can't really fake it.
Sometimes I can fake it commercially, but it feels a bit like, whoa, that's like work for me.
But the default is actually just to, I don't know, just to trust in my own point of view and go, that's what it is.
That's how I see the world.
And that's enough really.
No, I don't think so.
It's just when I think about the work and when I sort of put it down, it just comes out the way it does.
It's like I don't go out of my way to be obtuse or difficult or sort of anything like that.
But I do think the work needs to be, particularly sort of theatre, it needs to be not television.
