So getting birds and releasing them in 10s and 12s and 20s and 15s

seems to give them the best chance, seems to give them the best opportunity to get into, integrate quickly into wild bird populations.

And once they're in there, we're very confident they follow other birds.

So, you know, we had a bird last year with a GPS tag.

It was around Lockree for two or three weeks post-release with some of the other birds.

And next thing, it flew absolutely straight as a die.

It made no diversion, no one way left, right looking for anything.

It flew straight as a die to Galway Bay.

So,

I'm convinced that was in with wild bird population because they knew where they were going.

You would imagine that bird, if he didn't know where he was going, would have been flying around a bit and stopping here and there, flew straight over Galway City, you know, straight to the dice.

So look, the more information we get, the more interesting this becomes.

But I'm quite happy at the moment that if we can get birds healthy and into these areas, they're integrating with wild populations and they're going to places they need to go.

Exactly where they go then afterwards to breed is something that we're still learning.
