It's rational for the players to commit fouls because they know that if they do, 95% of the time, they won't have to pay for it.
We had Bernardo Silva last week taking the rice thing as an example.
It's not the first time we've seen him do that.
He did run a Chelsea where he actually handled the ball at the same time.
It's a move that he does.
This is just how he marks the corners.
Bernardo Silva did the same thing in the recent Man City game.
Pulled the player to the ground, not looking at the ball.
No foul given.
So, okay, the point is that the referees have created a situation where the players are fools not to do this.
