And then I'm going to bring this whole conversation back to, well, what is going to make your vision, uh, uh,

approachable or understandable or digestible by the larger audience.

That's his superpower insofar as I understand it.

Well, I could be wrong on this, but I think insofar as all of the major artists that I've heard have worked with Rick Rubin, it's always been between one and three albums.

It's not an extended period of time.

And it could be...

the first album that they do, but more likely it's usually like the third, the fifth album that they do, and then they have 123 albums with them and then they move on to another person.

And I think that speaks to the career lifecycle.

This thing of like you have put in enough work to understand the thing, and now you need a reinvigoration and you're hitting your peak and and you need a guru like Rick Rubin to come in and be like, this is what you're going to go do.

And then after that, to my understanding of all the people I'm thinking of, uh, you kind of find your sound and then you live in that space.

That's another fucking episode right there.

It's not so easy.

Some people are, but those people are, I think, colloquially nailed it, known as sociopaths.
