You know, there's a, you know, read the book, check it out.
There's all kinds of resources on it, but it might be something you want to introduce to your work environment because it just helps to get the team repositioned in the right seats.
Yeah.
One of my favorite leadership axioms is don't say somebody's no for them.
And I think one of the boundaries that people need to do is to say, listen,
you know, I'm going to say my own no, and I'm going to take this need to someone that has the ability to do something about it, to a manager, a supervisor, a leader.
I'm going to take it to them and say, Hey, listen, this, there's a, there's a gap over here and things are falling through, you know, like identified the problem and say like, here it is.
Like I'd be willing for the next two weeks to create a bridge between
you know, but I don't have the time to step into that permanently unless we took something else off of my portfolio.
You know, if we took something else off, if we took something else off of my portfolio, I could step into that, but I can't.
And so, but I can do this because I know you're busy, I'm busy, we're all busy, you know, maybe I can help with that.
And I think one of the reasons people don't do that is they're afraid that somebody, their supervisor is going to say no.
And we do.
So we imagine, well, they'll just say no, you know, and and we can't do we don't say somebody's no for them.
Go up, ask the question, have the conversation.
Then the other boundary is my my wife loves to tell our kids all the time, you're not responsible for the other person's reaction.
You gotta let that go.
You have to let that, whatever their reaction is, you gotta get to the point where you can just walk away from that.
But we've noticed like with one of our daughters, she does this, she'll have these imaginary conversations
let's say there's, she's having conflict with one of her friends.
