And, uh, I remember just watching on your phone.

Cause like they don't have the draft on TV that late, but, um, yeah, I was just watching the, uh, the names pop up on my phone and I finally saw my name go in the 20th there.

And, uh, I was a few, a few picks away from Mr. Relevant.

That would've been cool.

But, uh,

Yeah, just called my parents, said it's pretty neat, and it was a fun day, but not crazy, but it was lots of joy still.

I would say even just exposure, really.

It's tough being from Canada.

Unless you're a stud going to a big school, I think as of late, especially in this last draft here, there's been a lot of great Canadian pickups.

Coming out of high school, it's still really tough out of Canada.

And I think just exposure-wise, I don't think teams really missed.

I think they just didn't really...

have a clue or just, like, really knew enough.

So I don't blame any of them.

And I'm grateful the Braves took me.

I talked with my parents and my brother a lot.

He helped me a lot.

But it was more just, like, a foot in the door thing.

And I knew, like, I knew...

I'm a, I'm a competitor and I'll always find a way to compete and like make myself, make my presence known a little bit.
