There's a lot of mythology surrounding when is the best round to apply.

And I think there are clear advantages to applying early, some of the things that we just mentioned.

But again, it's the right round when you're fully ready.

And that includes the factors that are out of your control, like the recommenders.

Another question just popped in from Arlene, if that's okay, Krithika.

I figured it was a good time to ask this to the room.

What do you think is an ideal timeline for taking the GMAT?

Right out of university, your brain is still in the mind of taking tests.

So let me just ask you, are there some key things that you would recommend that people should know specifically about applying in round one?

Yeah.

And play with that as well.

But I'm sure the deadline date is definitely not one of the major factors why they would select to apply at a specific school.

It's much more about fit.

But yeah, it's nice to know you can have that.

I was going to say people definitely underestimate how long things take, whether it's the GMAT, whether it's that reflection period before you get into those essays with the application itself or waiting for a recommender to get back to you.

I mean, all of these things just add up.

And as you're working full time, probably you have other life responsibilities.

It really takes longer than you think.

So the earlier you can start, the better.

Definitely.
