This idea that the perfect Harvard or whatever, Stanford, London Business School, et cetera, essay exists is a fallacy.
And so when you do that, you're shortchanging yourself, I think, because not only is it boring to read, you're missing the you're missing the point.
The the assignment is not show us how the you show us that you know how to use AI, right?
And I've had that experience pretty recently.
It was actually with an executive MBA uh applicant uh for one of the Europe European programs.
Granted, he was on the younger side, so
Not AI native because we're not that young.
Um, but you know, in the executive uh application for see it was the essay, there were like something like 12 questions, and all of them, 12 essay questions, and all of them were clearly AI written.
When I first scanned through it, just as a quick thing, I was like, oh, this is really good writing, and that's the thing, that's the trap, because AI writes technically very well.
There's no grammar errors, there's like nice vocabulary.
vocabulary and so on, but then I when I read it for real, I was like, oh
I in p people who use AI regularly and admissions folks do
You can recognize certain motifs, certain word structures, uh syntax that is just telltale of AI.
And so when it's like that riddled through, you're just like, okay, this guy did not write this.
He just asked someone else to do it for you, which for me is like I might as well be asking my brother or my boss to do it.
It's not me.
And so that's a problem.
And it it's not the use of AI in and of itself that is against the rules per se.
Say for most schools.
You know, as AG members, we hear time and time again, uh, the last couple of years since AI has been around that they're not anti-AI.
