Yeah, are you in the in the undergrad level, are you seeing video essays being included in the application process before shortlisting for the interview?
Yeah, also those essays that somebody might have found online either from a blog like Reddit uh or via AI.
That essay that got someone else in who knows how many years ago
Right.
The policies have changed.
The question may have changed.
Certainly the staff could have changed.
And you know, when the when the staff who's reading the essays has changed, they may have different perspectives on what's important, what's valuable.
Of course, as time goes on, we have changes in technology, not just AI, um, uh politics, uh, you know, social movements and so forth.
So the the the the way things work then for that particular person and those circumstances may not at all
work for you.
And maybe the the person who got in with that essay for whatever school they're proud to to post on Reddit, maybe they get in despite their essay, not because of it.
Maybe they were just great in other ways where the competition was weak that year, they got in and it was not at all thanks to their essay.
And so there's a lot of bad information out there and bad AI responses based on those things.
Well, it goes back to what you were saying earlier, Bara, about that AI I'm sorry, the admissions team are comparing the your voice that resonates throughout your essays and then in the interview.
