Yeah, well, I first went in 92 and Laurie Mains had played there before in the 76 trip and he warned us about altitude and that kind of thing.

So I said, we'll get there.

We arrived in Joburg, and we're going to go for a light run just to start getting used to things.

Light run was 50 down and ups in 16 150s.

And after the first five 150s, everyone's nose was bleeding, mate, the whole team.

Yeah.

And he says, that's altitude.

Get used to it.

You know, that was good.

We got that out of the road, but if the lift was full and you had to walk up a couple of flights, you get to the top, you're just breathless.

It's just really hard to get that second wind.

And the other thing that we really struggle with, and it really dries you out too.

So you're forever having to water up.

And again, that wasn't a, you know, I guess it's the scientists and the,

all the physios and that, they know about nutrition and hydration nowadays.

That was new to us back then.
