That was my positive takeaway from practice for sure.

I loved that quote.

You don't like what it implies going backwards, but I feel like we already knew that.

I feel like we all saw it.

Totally.

In an indirect way, it was nice to hear Adam put words on it, and he did it without calling his best player out, rather saying, now I see it.

You know, turning on and it's why I'm excited about tomorrow because I do think this is the kind of game that will get Jokic to really play just as a plus basketball and his numbers have been really good.

Still, that last game even is a good example of like, all right, you don't love his effort, but it's a monster triple double and a big win.

But I just the joy of it.

I loved that word because I feel like Jokic has been kind of joyless since coming back from the injury.

So if he finds that in competitive basketball and finds that in the Wemby matchup, which it's not always how it works with Jokic.

He's not as explicitly like, yeah, I want to beat that guy.

But I do think internally a little bit of that is there more than we give it credit for.

So I'm excited to see how he plays, what energy he brings tomorrow.

And I think Yoke sees Wemby as a guy who might end up actually being better.

So if you look at Yoke as one of the smartest players and problem solvers that's ever picked up a basketball, Wemby is a new problem for him because it's not –

You know, Gobert, honestly, even though Jokic has ended up frying him, had some moments, right?

As far as one-on-one defenders, it's pretty hard to find anyone that's going to stop Jokic.

But Wemby is this combination of elite defense and then can just run like pick and pop on the other end.
