Kind of.
Well it's interesting too, and I mean in the game of basketball, right?
We plan for certain things and then they inevitably go wrong, and then you have to kind of adapt to that.
But that's that's super cool.
And that feeling I would assume was was pretty awesome compared to the sophomore year.
Yeah, it was definitely a different feeling.
So you you became kind of the all-time leading scorer at Bountiful.
It's a historical program.
You played with Sam Merrill.
What from your high school experience really sticks out to you of kind of the lessons
have you learned and things that really enjoyed about the high school experience?
It seems like living in that present moment is so important too.
Like I think kids that are like, Oh, I'm college is the go I'm gonna gonna ignore this current experience can kind of get you in a little bit of a different yeah I don't know, a mindset and kind of what you're willing and able to do for the team.
But take me through kind of the pros and cons of having your dad on the coaching staff.
No, that's great.
My dad was my coach up until high school and so I don't know, there was just an added level of pressure I thought for me of one, I never wanted to be like, Oh, you're only playing because your dad's the coach, right?
And so I think there was this like, I have to be so much better just so there's no doubt left in anyone's mind, right?
Did and he won a state championship at Bountiful.
Mhm.
Do you rub in the fact that you have two and he only has one, or how does that work in the family?
