And then what roles and responsibilities do you delegate to your staff because of all of the thousands of things you have to do as a program?

What are you most excited for this year, year one at Orim, with the guys that you know are here?

It's uh so you made it to the state championship game as a player.

So what do what do you think it takes that most people don't understand to actually get that far, to even get to the opportunity to have that game?

It feels like a lot has to go right.

And my dad would always say to win a championship, you do need a little bit of luck and people people have their own feelings on luck, but things have to bounce your way sometimes.

Yeah.

And it's interesting with the state tournament runs that are involved with you and these teams of uh there's a quote that's you don't rise to the occasion, you fall to your training.

And so I think to your point too, when you're getting in a new gym and you're getting in a bigger environment, to make sure that your kids the training is there first before like thinking I'll magically rise to this big occasion.

But that's super cool.

Take me through tryouts and how you kind of manage and run.

tryouts, what are you looking for?

What do you put the kids through to pull out the talent and the skills that you're looking for for a team?

I uh so I coach my son, he's eleven, and I did this with that team.

I said, How many of you have a goal of making a high school team?

And they all raise their hand.

And that's why this podcast exists, is for the little kids, so they know what coaches are looking for.

And I said, How many of you wanna play college?

And they all raise their hand.

Or like, How many of you wanna play in the NBA?
