And they all raise their hand.

So I was like, as a coach, I feel like it's our job as a coach is everybody at some point in their life is going to get the news that you're just not good enough to play.

And I think us as coaches, all we want to do is push that date out as far as we possibly can for these kids.

We can't.

And some of them it will be after a sophomore year, some of them it will be after a varsity year.

But that's such a tough and emotional thing.

And the hardest thing in my life I've ever had to do was fire someone from a work perspective.

But then like cutting is that same feeling of you just like you just hate it.

Yeah, it kinda leads me to another question too of Oram is a football powerhouse.

And so the transfers are may not necessarily be coming here because of basketball.

They're coming here for something else, but they also play basketball.

So how do you deal with multi sport athletes in your program, especially with all the spring, summer, fall tournaments?

That football uh definitely brings a level of toughness and tenacity, I think, if you can you can have that.

But all the sports translate, I think, in in interesting ways.

How do you what is your approach to parents, right?

Because I mean you're gonna have 30 kids in your program across all the levels and not all of them want to start varsity, but not all of them can.

You only get five.

So how do you deal with playing time discussions or at least skill discussions?

the interactions with parents and their kids.

It does seem to your point of back when I was there, it's kinda like you dealt with the coach in front of you, but now it seems like parents and admin have so much more like if something isn't handled the right way, then they can kick that coach out pretty quickly and pretty easily.
