How do you balance the your offensive and defensive strategies with the personnel that you have in that given year?

So I guess what changes based on personnel and what remains consistent regardless of personnel?

Well and it seems again with the transfer rules and the dynamics of all of that, you could start a season with no returners or few returners and now you're building out a program.

the number of kids to go after in terms of if you go after a hundred different kids, that spreads you and your staff thin and then what if seventy of them say yes, then that's also hard to conversations.

On the flip side, if you go after ten and only one says yes, you're left with four guys.

I remember when I first had committed to be an assistant coach, I had almost this mini panic attack of how am I going to cover everything that I we hope to cover, right?

And so how do you build out what are you going to work on in a given practice or preseason versus in-season?

It seems like there's so much to build this culture and to get these freshmen up to speed with how you like to play.

How do you decide, all right, we're going to focus on the first time.

I love that and I actually have a question around that of when you're scouting other teams to go play them, in your mind how much of it is okay, we're gonna do what we do best and they have to deal with that versus I'm gonna know everything that the other team does so that we're also prepared for that.

Is there a it seems like there's gotta be a balance there?

How do you approach the good shot, great shot, bad shot, I guess shot selection conversation with your team?
