Lavrov published a statement saying he told Rubio that the Kremlin plans to continue heavy strikes on the Ukrainian capital, launching systematic and consistent strikes against facilities in Kyiv as well as against the relevant decision-making centers.
Lavrov also says he and Rubio discussed diplomatic initiatives to resolve the crisis in the Strait of Hormuz and the situation surrounding Cuba, with both officials agreeing to normalize the working conditions of Russian and U.S.
diplomatic missions in each other's territories.
