Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called U.S.

State Secretary Marco Rubio to advise him to evacuate U.S.

citizens and diplomats from Kyiv.

He told Rubio that the Kremlin plans to continue heavy strikes on the Ukrainian capital, launching systematic and consistent strikes against facilities in Kyiv as well as against the relevant decision-making centers.

Russia has bombed Ukrainian cities regularly since 2022.

However, Sunday, Ukraine came under a massive Russian drone and missile barrage that included a ballistic missile.

Moscow framed the attack as retaliation for the recent Ukrainian drone attack on a college that killed 21 students.

President Trump says negotiations with Iran are proceeding nicely.

In a Truth Social post this morning, the president said it was only a great deal for all, or no deal at all.

He went on to say that if a deal isn't reached, then it will be back to the battlefront and shooting, but bigger and stronger than ever before, and nobody wants that.

Meanwhile, Secretary of State Marco Rubio says a pretty solid proposal is currently on the table as Iran's foreign minister cautions this does not mean that the signing of an agreement is imminent.
