And also, you know, we face a lot of rejection.

I mean, in the opera world, the stat that I heard when I was coming up was like, for every 100 auditions you do, you'll get one job.

And I was like, oh, dear, sweet baby Jesus.

I'm not sure I can.

But I also had one of my coaches tell me that I may not have the most beautiful voice, but I was persistent.

So, you know, so anyway, I have this whole image of myself as not the greatest singer, but persistent.

And I got to work with some really amazing singers, right.

Who just seemed to be getting like one job after another.

And, um, and I got the jobs that I got and I'm so grateful for them.

I had a great career.

I had a lot of fun.

Um,

But it was always a question of like trying to stand out while also trying to follow all of the rules.

And feeling paralyzed by the rules.

Yeah.

And kind of invisible because I wasn't like the most gregarious person who walked in the room.

Or I wasn't like the obvious choice for a role based on type.

So I feel the same thing in the visual art world.

It's like, okay, I'm, I'm really starting to know who I am as a visual artist.

And I know like that the stuff that I'm creating is,
