So in terms of like meeting people who will become collectors, like,

What's your favorite way to meet new people?

Because so far, the people who have collected my work have been friends and family and a friend of a family member.

And I would really like to start reaching new people, just making connections with new people who collect art.

So what's your favorite way to do that?

Yeah.

I think, you know, it's, this is not an uncommon thing.

mindset for an artist, but like my dad, so my dad was born in 1932, right?

So he was a depression baby.

He grew up in rural Minnesota.

And for my father, like having a job was very important.

And like when he met my husband, he was like, so do you have a job?

Like that was one of the first questions that he asked him.

And, um, and it's one of the reasons that I worked full time while I was also singing because I needed that security because it was like in my DNA.

And like, I also, I'm, I'm not in my thirties anymore when I was doing that dual career thing.

I'm like, I'm 52 years old.

And, um,

I don't have the same kind of like push through energy anymore.

I have no desire to do that.

So like, I really would like to make this work.
