And even last night I was like scrolling Instagram as I was trying to wind down and I keep getting all of these like jobs available.
We're hiring.
And I keep my eye, but my brain is so trained.
It's like,
Oh, I wonder if I would be good at that.
Like, no, stop it.
You're an artist.
Just stop it.
Um, and it's, it takes, you know, I've got decades of programming to re rewire and, um,
I feel like I have spent the last eight years, especially like digging into all of those.
Um, and you know, the thing about the thing about grief is that it will turn up old trauma and it will turn up like a lot of old stuff that you did not even know was in there.
And so like,
I have been kind of in the process of working through a lot of that in the last four years.
And man, that sometimes feels like a full-time job, just trying to like rewire my brain about like, no, actually I do belong here.
And you know, like I don't have to do things the same way that my parents did.
And you know, the one, the one that really has been,
probably the hardest to work through is the belief that it doesn't matter what you do.
You can't get what you want.
Like that's what the voice inside is telling me.
