You don't work for me.
Like I'm on your time, your timeframe, not my own.
And so, yeah, it is a privilege to be able to have a balance.
But I also think that we live in a culture where it's like you brag about how little sleep you get and how, you know, you're at the office till midnight.
And I just don't want to be- I get deeply unfashionable now.
Like I don't see that that is- Our writer's room runs from 10 to three.
And that's something that actually Jenny Connor taught me, which I'm really grateful for because she said, you do not need to have a writer's room that goes longer than 10 to three.
Nothing is getting solved at six o'clock at night where everyone's sick of being with each other and they want to be at home.
And so having a happy work environment where you respect each other's time and you put in like a condensed amount of time where you're really focused, no one's leaving for the doctor's appointments.
No one's going and taking phone calls.
No one's like checking Instagram because you're locked in for this short period of time.
Yeah.
And so I'm into being productive in spurts of time, but like letting yourself have a life.
That's how that Bill Ackman school, you know, the alpha school, have you heard about that?
You sacrifice a lot to be able to have these choices.
I wasn't with my daughter on her second birthday.
I had to be in New York for the show.
I didn't have a choice.
Nobody cared that it's my daughter's birthday.
That's where I have to be.
