So after I won in Australia, I had to go and compete and I spent a month in Bali and

And I got so sick, but I didn't know I was sick.

I got a parasite.

Yeah.

And I didn't know I was sick because everyone else, the 130 other girls, were also tiny and losing weight from stress and just, you know, being in that environment.

I didn't realise how bad it had got till my parents came to visit me at the end and they were like, what happened to you?

You look like a pragmatist.

And I was like, what, really?

I just look like everybody else.

But yeah.

I'd picked up a parasite and I hadn't been able to shake it for the entire month that I was there.

I didn't know that I had it.

I was a little bit sick every now and again, not anything crazy, but more just like it attacked my immune system.

And that took me years to shake that.

I would get staph infections.

I would get like any break in the skin.
