expensive lotto ticket after lotto ticket, which is kind of what I like in IVF too.
It's literally like buying a $15,000 lottery ticket and hoping to God that you win the prize.
It's horrible.
It's a house deposit.
It's like over $150,000, which is worth every penny if it works out.
But so often it doesn't.
And you asked me last time, you know, how long can you keep doing this?
And I said, how long is a piece of string?
And I didn't know actually how close that piece of string was to the end when you asked me that question.
Everyone's going to be lining up here to be interviewed by you, I think, actually, with your baby dust.
But
Every day is different and you never know how you're going to feel, but it does really feel like you're playing the fertility lotto when it gets to this point.
And, yeah, I think it just goes to show that advocating for yourself and your health and exploring other options when it feels like you're at a dead end, it worked out for me.
And I just hope that if anyone else is in the same situation, it might be a little ray of sunshine and a bit of hope that, you know, maybe the journey will end as well if that is what you're seeking.
It's a strange thing, isn't it?
So strange.
And when I think about what I did different, well, I did actually change doctors, I think I believe I told you.
And
We had a good experience with our last doctor, the first doctor we ever had.
We definitely solved a lot of problems considering I went from getting no embryos the first time I ever did an egg collection, which was the first time we spoke, I believe.
