No, you can't get him out.
He's a very talented politician who has never lost an election.
So, you know, on that basis alone, plus the fact that he controls a large city government and over $100 billion budget, there's plenty of room for him to sort of make a move.
I think why I was laughing at my initial reaction is it sounds like he's going to try and do
more or less exactly what Andrew Cuomo tried to do and failed to do, right?
You know, it's one thing to say, you know, free pre-K is a bad idea.
It's another to say, well, it may or may not be a good idea, but you can't get it through Albany.
That's just not, I mean, Andrew Cuomo literally tried to make that argument and he had way more money than Eric Adams had.
And it just didn't stick.
And by the way, I feel like I've seen this happen over and over again.
They told Bill de Blasio, you'll never get universal pre-K.
You'll never be able to freeze the rent.
You'll never be able to raise the minimum wage.
And he did all three of those things, and then he got reelected.
And he drove down crime to record low levels at the same time.
So all of this stuff about you can't, you can't, you can't, that doesn't really move voters.
And Eric Adams, I think, is going to discover that on the campaign trail.
But as an adept politician, you'll probably pivot and find a better message.
It's logical analysis.
I mean, what it leaves out is this person is an international figure.
