And then we also live in a capitalist system.

And you and I can work on and invest in and found companies that we think need to exist in that capitalist system.

And so I think that the biggest thing is actually folks like you, folks like Sean, who I went on the other day, like talking about the level that we actually have power in this system.

And the answer is somewhere in the middle, and I think it often is.

There is a massive amount of graft, and there is a massive level of incompetence.

We shouldn't shy away from that and be like, ah, we're optimistic.

It doesn't matter.

We need to go and find it, and we need to be very, very, very objective about where it exists and vote it out.

On the same side, things aren't doomsday.

We are still the most powerful country on Earth.

We have one of the better functioning democracies on Earth.

If you look at history, things are better in 2026.

than they've basically been for like the hundreds of thousands of years that humanity has existed.

No, I'd rather be alive now.

I think our democracy has been functioning in more healthy of a state before, but I think we're a few years of really hard work away from being functioning healthier than we ever have been.

And the tech that exists today is significantly more exciting than it ever has been.

So no, I'd rather be alive today.
