And it makes even more—it makes the job harder for everybody.
Because at the end of the day, what his joke was about, right, his joke about David Ellison and changing the name of the dinner, which won't happen.
He's making that joke because Ouija's at CBS.
He is putting a line in the sand for all the leadership of every news organization around the country and maybe around the world.
He is making it clear what he expects from them.
He is making it clear that he wants them to do what he wants to do.
He wants them to feel like they're on his team.
All of that is what I read from what he was saying.
I just got another text from someone who said, I've never seen someone, a president bomb like this.
Whatever's happening in that room, it is not landing in the way I think that he wants it to because he doesn't seem to understand his audience.
Usually presidents, I think President Biden's longest dinner speech was 20 minutes.
