They just try to live it or think they live a healthy lifestyle, but they're oftentimes extremely sick, right?
It's ironically, usually the people who have the healthiest lifestyle that are the most sick because they're like, you know, so obsessed with like trying to do everything perfect.
That's a good point.
Yeah.
So I think the first thing to understand is that when a client comes in, I'm not just looking at their physical habits.
I'm not just looking at, okay, this is what they're doing every single day, but it's also their identity.
It's what matters, their priorities.
Because if you are working with someone that exactly the case that you just described, they're busy, they have a couple of kids, they're eating cheeseburgers or they're going out to eat a lot.
the first thing that I ask my clients quite often is like, OK, like, what are your priorities and what are your goals?
Right.
Because if you prioritize like having fun on the weekend and like having a couple of beers over your health, then it doesn't matter what we're going to do with your physical body, because that's always going to be number one for you.
Right.
So we have to look at like
your inner reality, essentially, of like how you look at the world, how you look at your physical body.
And that first needs to change, right?
Because the willingness to change has to come from inside.
It's not like, hey, my friend, this is literally why we don't take clients on with this particular profile who are like, hey, well, my so-and-so said that I needed to do this.
And so I'm here to do it, but I don't want to do it, right?
Like if you don't have the willingness to do the thing, it's not going to stick.
Right.
