But this is why I keep coming back to focusing not only on the speed of the model development.

And also how you yourself can adapt and also know about it.

But what you do need to focus on is, and I call this, you need to outstructure your competitors and you need to make sure that your setup is set up for an advantage that now can compound over time.

The better the models get, the faster you can also integrate and take them away.

And that in itself brings me to the other overarching thing.

theme that I wanted to talk to you about and that is governance.

And I know and believe me, I know because I've worked in governance and assurance, I know that this word mostly lands in most rooms heart.

And um it also sounds like it's slowing down and it's a department that is more focused on stiff boundaries and approval loops and design processes and auditing and so on.

However, what I always keep back to saying

That if you do governance right, it's actually an enabler and it's an enabler for trust and an enabler for speed.

And most of all, it provides a lot of clarity.

And it provides not only clarity but the context and it distributes agencies to where it actually belongs.

And I want you to think about governance as one of the guardrails that is required to steer complexity because you can also see them.

Like the guardrails on the road that do not slow you down in itself.

They're most of the time they're here to guide you along like your way.

But these guardrails are the reason of why you can speed ahead and also look into this place.

And interestingly, at this point in time, I also come back to the distinction between speed and velocity.

Currently, most of the organizations

Are focused on speed of implementation.

And I think we will see a big shift towards velocity of implementation.
