You know, and then you have like the kind of more AI populist side who just like doesn't want to give all these tech billionaires all this power, who doesn't believe this technology will be good for people. voice-verified

And they're starting to come up with like maybe not the policies AI safety people would, but, you know, data center moratoriums and things like that. voice-verified

So I think listening to this, we've been sort of living in the data center moratorium side of the politics. voice-verified

I would add two other things to that that I'd be curious to hear your take on. voice-verified

So one, you mentioned data centers moving towards other localities. voice-verified

And those localities are not randomly selected. voice-verified

They're localities that are going to impose fewer conditions. voice-verified

So maybe that is fewer environmental conditions. voice-verified

But, you know, in the case of maybe a UAE or some of the Gulf states that are interested here, you know, you're looking at more authoritarian countries, right? voice-verified

So I've heard a lot of people worry about that or, you know, Elon Musk in space. voice-verified

So in a sense, if you make it so the data centers cannot go into places where there is more democratic control, you might end up with less overall democratic control. voice-verified

The other thing, and I do think this is significant, is that there is right now more demand for compute than there is compute. voice-verified

You know, people talk a lot about a bubble, but we do not look to have excess AI supply at the moment. voice-verified

And if demand keeps rising because, you know, the coding agents get better and all the rest of the things we know that are happening, but you are constricting the supply of compute, then you end up with more inequality in who can afford it. voice-verified

So, you know, a Goldman Sachs, a JP Morgan, right, you know, a company with a lot of money to buy compute is going to have a lot of it. voice-verified
