Hello, thanks for inviting me.
Great to be here.
Yeah, Neckarmann Strom is a company many people in Germany learned from
times ago it was one of the first big cattle companies where you could order stuff straight to your home it was at the same time like Otto or something was one of the predecessors of Amazon and many branches of the company got split up after that so it's Neckermann Traveling, Neckermann Energy we are talking about today
And I have a big finance background, I have always worked with energy companies and one day we got a case of Neckermann Strom right at the time around the big Ukraine-Russia crisis a few years ago.
and the company needed some new guidance.
It wasn't looking too great and the energy prices were way too high and there was a bit of structural stuff that happened in the company.
So one day it got sent to my desk and that day, about two years ago, I decided to try my best with the company, structure it new and start with a new vision of the company in the energy market.
and for the past three years i've been working very hard to fulfill that vision we are not quite at the goal yet but i can safely say that we managed every crisis which was thrown at our way we got from a small little office in norderstedt that's near hamburg in germany to to a company which could
manage around 10 to 20 people and we could safely say that we steered through all crises regarding Russia and Iran for the past few years and now the next big steps are trying to get even bigger in the German energy market and maybe in the future all across Europe or even overseas.
We hear that quite often actually that we are a small fish in a pretty big sea on the German energy market.
But I don't think that's a disadvantage for us.
Mostly I think it's a very big advantage to be a small but dynamic company which can adjust to every
a hurdle that's in our way.
The big competitors have long times of decision making.
They have really old processes which can't be adjusted very fast.
With us, we have a time of very fast technology advantages.
or advancements rather and if it's ki if it's new energy modules we have to be very fast in decision making we have to be very fast at market rollouts and we have to be very fast in changing communications with the customers and that's what i've been working on for the
for a time now that we can lift this dynamic company on the market and i think it's working quite well we got a few milestones in the past few years our own energy solar pedal plants our own gas
company tariffs so we can work with customers in the private sector, we can work with customers in the industry sector, we can deliver energy and gas to customers and we can consult them on different energy solutions for the companies not just the plain energy delivery at the end of the day.
