and works alongside football, and being really clear that treating women with respect and treating girls with respect should be absolutely part of footballing culture, they could create an immense platform to talk about this.

I don't see that across footballing clubs.

I don't see a footballing club... In fact, sorry, there are a couple, but they are so few and far between.

What I don't see at scale are footballing clubs saying...

As part of our manifesto, as part of our charter of behavior, this is top of the pile.

Up there together with racism, you hear that a lot in football clubs, very important.

These two things intersect as well.

I'm sure we'll talk about that.

And we don't talk about, they're not talking about what that looks like, the kinds of behaviors that they expect, the kinds of things that they want men to do.

For example, be an upstander, not a bystander.

Call it out.

They're not doing any of that.

And for me, the question is, is why?

It's not that hard if you choose that you want to do it.

Clubs have immense power, immense influence, starting from a position of power.

Either they lack the moral impetus or they lack the courage.

Neither one is captable.

They need to embrace this.

You know, I would have really welcomed clubs coming to Women's Aid on the back of our campaign, the other kickoff, and say, well, how can we work with you?

We'd love to work with you on this campaign.
