Not as your fathers ate the manna and are dead.
He who eats this bread will live forever.
They asked how.
He never explained how.
We don't need to know how.
We will never know how.
But Martin Luther, he actually gave a good answer.
Because the first to really teach this was a guy named Zwingli.
Zwingli and Martin Luther had a conversation back and forth.
They both believed scriptures alone.
They had the same scriptures, but they were arguing on the meaning of the scriptures, the interpretation of the scriptures.
So that's why we also believe that scriptures alone is scary, is dangerous.
Because what happens when we have different meanings?
So Zwingli said, how?
It looks like bread.
It tastes like wine.
Martin Luther said something very interesting.
He said, well, people, when they saw Jesus, they saw what?
A man.
But we know he's God in the flesh.
