And it was one of those situations that, okay, I also have a dedication to make a holy hour every day.

But I'll tell you this.

Again, this is the difference between the saint or the soon to be beatified Fulton Sheen and someone like me.

It is a high priority for me to make a holy hour.

And yet there are times when I've given myself a pass.

There's times when I've said, well, you know, it's okay.

I can get 20 minutes in front of the Lord.

Like, okay, that's fine.

That's quote unquote good enough, right?

And there's something heroic about that.

The kind of person who would say, but even when I have to make sacrifices to get that hour in front of Jesus, I'm going to make the sacrifice.

I will every day of my life make that holy hour when it's easy.

But fortitude, right?

And even love is willing to do it when it's not easy.

And I just, I'm so inspired by that.

So when there are days where like, gosh, I have to get up and I have to get out the door because I'm going to a thing.

Oh, I guess I can't make my holy hour before that.

Well, I can't or I won't is the question I have to ask myself.

Archbishop Sheen had made that dedication to that holy hour every day.

Now, side point, there's nothing magical about 60 minutes in front of Jesus.
