Uh I wouldn't say I was close to in a row but I was close to making uh
My decision to go play league but as soon as I went to York and Grammar School, everything kinda changed.
And um yeah, just seeing, you know, the All All Blacks names in uh the pavilion at school kinda changed my mind to try and pursue rugby, you know, as All Blacks was a big thing in Open Grammar,

Yeah, so as everyone knows, my other brothers they've made it to so my little brothers with dolphins and my older brothers in the Q cup.
But I guess I don't know, my first taste of rugby I guess I kind of loved it I guess and I've been loving it every every minute of it and um yeah, just ever since school I just wanted to stick with rugby and yeah, but when I was young I was always a league fan and uh
Yeah, I guess high school just changed that for my for me, so yeah.
Uh let's say it was my last year.
I started uh
you know, making the ranks of being one of the top prospects in high school and then when I made the N Z Schools team I felt like, you know, I had a chance and
Yeah, I probably made the decision then that I was gonna pursue rugby and then I got injured.
I was out for about two, three years and then got picked up by Clark Laidelaw for Sevens, went there twenty four, twenty five, and then twenty five I went to Keynes and yeah, then now here I am.
Uh rehab sucked.
Um
Took me, yeah, like I said, two, three years.
Twenty twenty.
End of twenty twenty I was injured.
First game back was twenty twenty-three.
And um yeah, mentally uh a lot of ups and downs.
But luckily I had my family and my partner who supported me all the way and entered sevens as well.
