And he was absolutely charming.

We talked about art and music and that Manchester-Liverpool scene of the late 70s, early 80s.
And he was just, he could not have been nicer.
He was a lovely, lovely man.
but move it yeah no it just it just kind of it just i guess it just came to a natural we finished our second beer and and that was it but it was it was that i think it's always a risk a lost evening yeah it was a risk of like if you meet someone like i i the only time i've ever shied away from doing it was i don't know must be about 15 years ago i saw a nick cave gig and i came out and afterwards and he was just there
And at the time, I was so enamored with him and his work.
You went over and kissed him on the back.
No, I just thought, I don't want to go over and risk...

Yeah, or him saying something nasty or telling me to piss off.
I didn't want anything that would spoil.
And that's the one time I've ever kind of gone, you know, I'm not going to do it on this occasion.
