I mean, I'm a bully.

I've been told I'm a bully.

So that's what I do.

And the self-esteem goes lower.

And the self, because there's such a shame around it.

So as the parent, as this lovely listener, this courageous listener, as I said, has emailed us, her job, and, you know, this is, I think, to be honest, at the kernel, at the heart of being a parent, is to offer that unconditional love, is to say, okay, you've behaved in this way.

But that does not stop me for one second loving you in any way, shape or form.

You are a good person.

You are a kind person.

You have behaved in a way that is not ideal or not good, not kind.

But that does not change who you are.

I know who you are.

And that is what actually makes a difference.

It's having this support and this belief in you when you don't have it yourself.

When you're 11 years old and you're questioning yourself.

Where are you going to turn to apart from your parents, apart from your mother?

If she can see that in you, if she can hold that space for you and say, I love you, darling.

You know, you are, as I said, a kind person and you're learning from this.

We've all made mistakes.
