Yeah, so Lisa Kudrow nearly got the role of Roz and ultimately went to Perry Galpin.

She had been shooting for, I think she'd been like rehearsing or whatever.

There was an early run through, so they were working on it for three days.

Director James Burrows then eventually told Kudrow, you know, this isn't working.

And she was fired.

She called it devastating at the time.

But sure, look, a year later, she got friends.

She became Phoebe.

It didn't really matter.

Yeah.

I think in other interviews, Burroughs had said that her performance was kind of too ethereal or something opposite Kelsey Grammar, that that's why it didn't kind of work out in the end.

I was just about to say, I can't imagine her as Roz.

So this is one of those ones where I'm like, that worked out in the end.

That was a sliding door moment that worked out for you, definitely.

So Sweet D is played by Caitlin Olsen in the iteration that we know.

And Caitlin Olsen, as we most will know, is married to Rob McElhenney, one of the other stars of the show.

But it was almost Rob McElhenney's original girlfriend that made the role of Sweet D. This is like so, so messy.
