I think that comes down to I think she was letting the cast kind of improv and change the dialogue on the fly and feedback to be like they young people would never say this, teenagers would never say this.

I think it's a couple of different things.
I think we're seeing this is tied to this explosion in like young adult kind of book adaptations as well and them transferring to the screen.
Escapism is always a huge thing.
Like I think you can nearly link kind of what's going on societally and politically to our current TV viewing habits.
Um and there's nothing more escapist than turning on something like this and you're watching beautiful young people and beautiful set.
Dealing with kind of sometimes trivial problems, sometimes not.
But again, as Aidan says, there's a formula there, you know you're kind of not gonna be facing blood, gore, guts, anything really, really terrible, terrible consequence.

Yeah, but I I would also say it's a shame that it if kind of m men and boys aren't tuning into this because you have the kind of like such great examples and good kind of role modelling with the male characters.
Again, I suppose that comes down to them being kind of more catered to a female gaze or female audience.
