All that being true, we were sort of it was a region that was completely calcified and nothing had changed.
And a whole series of unthinkable things have happened.
Who knows that perhaps two, three years from now, you're looking at an Iran that maybe whose economy may actually open up, whose people may eventually have a say in their own future.
I think it's hard to predict because we are not at the end of this cycle.
We are actually just in the middle.
We don't know where the end of the road is for Iran.
What I think is sort of interesting is that there have been these alliances that are questioning certain things that we've always held to be true.
And if you look at the Gulf, where I think, again, is worth considering, you've got the UAE and Saudi Arabia that are at loggerheads.
You have OPEC on its knees because the UAE has left.
And you have the question of who will join the Abraham Accords.
So until all those things settle, I think it's impossible to answer that question.

I think we should be keeping a very, very close eye at how the Saudis are behaving right now.
It's pretty clear that they're extremely unhappy with the Americans.
We should remember, of course, that one of the big problems
trips that Trump did last year was to the Gulf.
And he got showered with attentions and riches.
Who can forget, of course, the Qatari jet that he was gifted.
And I think there was very much a sense that we were very close to what is called the normalization process, that suddenly they would all get in and back Israel.
