I mean, that's, that's certainly negative that he doesn't just have those same instincts at the more difficult part of the, of the position is reading and reacting and sort of being that quarterback of the defense.

I'm not really sure that I view him as like a middle linebacker, but I still see him more as a stack guy.
So that's kind of where I'm going to stick at.
Apparently everybody else views him as an edge too.
So I don't, I don't think that you're, I think more than anything, I'm a little bit more off base, but we'll see what happens.

The best shot to play a decade, it might be Jacob Rodriguez.
Jay Rodriguez is probably the most interesting person to talk about in all of this.

So he's a three-star recruit who played quarterback and safety in high school, as well as basketball, baseball, and track and field, right?
He's also super-duper smart.
He goes to Virginia and plays quarterback, and then they move him around as this offensive weapon, too.
Then leaves after that year and transfers to Texas Tech, becomes a linebacker for the first time.
And the stat sheet pops off almost immediately, right?
I think he became a starter immediately.
2023 did have an injury, so he barely played.
