And then 2024, like you said, the numbers are arguably better than 2025 if you, you know, because the turnovers are kind of what tipped the scale there.

I think that he sees the field incredibly well.

First of all, it's a really well-coached defense for Texas Tech.

The way that the linebackers all sway and move with the play, I feel like every defensive coach does.

loves watching that but but he keeps his feet moving and i think that that's one of those things like you said like athletically it's not it's fine i don't have a problem with his athleticism i think it's fine but it's certainly not like elite but where he is elite is reading the field he has excellent vision and understanding of what's happening in front of him and keeping his feet moving so his feet are always kind of bouncing around which means that when he decides when to react he's already a step ahead

So he makes up all of that lack of athleticism.

And you see it too.

He's excellent at keeping hands off of him and shedding blockers.

And when he can't, he does have that weird spin move, like you said, that he pulls out every once in a while and just lets these guys slide right off of him.

And he doesn't really need to use it that often because he's he has like some short area quickness to just kind of not let blockers get their hands directly on him.

He sheds them really, really quickly.

He flows with the play really, really well.

He wants to tackle also.

So like there's a couple of plays where he's filling the gap backs running inside zone runs to the other side, wherever he literally jumped over a fallen over center to make a tackle in the other B gap.

Um, so he has that downhill mentality.

He's a linebackers linebacker.

Like he really is fun to watch.

I think that this dude, and also by the way, I, he won like every single defensive trophy in 2025.

He won.

He's an all American, all big 12 defensive player of the year, all big 12, uh, the Buckus award, Nagurski award, uh, Bernardick award and Lombardi trophy.
