That's what we thought, right?
That's what we think.
So uh he was also the star of the game.
And when you're
when your rookie that you traded up for is the star of the game, I you can't get too much happier than that, right?
Yeah, I mean, we didn't have ex expectations of him being that dude, but we certainly have a need for him to be that dude.
I mean, if he could step up and and be a valuable depth piece in his rookie year, I mean, that goes a long way for a very thin defensive tackle room.
Um, you know, he walked a center back on a pass play there, but there was another run play where he was one-on-one with the center and just struggled to generate movement.
And that's not what I wanted to see.
And if if it was a double team where he just struggled to do something.
That would be acceptable to me.
But one on one with the center, this is the kind of thing where I wanted him to win.
The other thing that I thought was disappointing was the Vikings had a goal line situation in which was extended by a defensive pass interference or whatever it was that gave him a free first down.
He didn't really generate any movement on that.
There was some, there was some really good defensive work by the Giants overall on those plays, but he was not really a part of it.
And I was surprised.
