sort of wiped her brow and cleaned out her mouth with mucus, um and, you know, really sort of stroked her hair and made her feel really calm and comfortable.

And I thought that's that I did not expect that, right?

And that was a very unexpected

You know, a sense sign of God's presence.

So it's really important to be attentive.

And keep our eyes open, even in the midst of these tough times.

And again, I was really glad that Anne was the one that said that.

Yeah, exactly.

We get a lot of healing from Jesus.

We don't always get cured in the way that we want.

Yeah, it's very complex.

I mean, I think we deal with the legacy of people being told in difficult situations, just offer it up.

Um really just, you know, grit your teeth and offer it up as a sacrifice.

Now I don't wanna diminish, you know, what people have felt, you know, over the years.

But for a lot of people that feels like uh

Yeah, like a cudgel, you know, or it doesn't feel helpful.

For other people, you know, like Anne, um, it can be very

beautiful and it can be a way of offering something to God.

And you know, another way of thinking about it is if you are in a sense offering it up and other people see you using in a sense these misfortunes as a way of uniting yourself with Jesus' suffering, you're kind of providing an example for people, right?

Of of patient suffering and trust and hope and faith in God, right?
