Okay, my first day of school in kindergarten.
So I wasn't even five.
So this eager child goes to school for the first time and ended with me sitting in a corner with a Band-Aid pasted over my mouth, holding up a sign saying, I am a chatterbox.
That this is what the teacher did.
So I was like really worried.
I couldn't believe this.
And this is what I was constantly being punished for.
Every report card in grammar school was like, Francis speaks out of turn.
Francis asks too many questions.
Francis asks too many questions was constantly on my report card.
My parents would say, stop asking so many questions.
Why do you think you were asking so many questions?
Because I was interested.
Because I wanted to know.
You know, I mean...
To me, a child that asks a lot of questions is a curious child, which now people, I think, would think, great, the kid wants to know stuff.
