And he, you know, I remember when I was 10, he brought me into the room and he sat me down and he taught me a song called Dona, Dona, Dona.

And that was the first time I heard myself sing.

So do you know what I mean?

How was that?

It was magical.

Like for somebody to sit down with you and have a guitar and say, come on, I want you to learn this song.

And like he was 10 years older than me, so he was 20.

So and of course, I idolized him.

We all idolized him.

He was just cool.

He was kind of a hippie, you know, the mad curly hair, Afro hair and the flares and everything.

And, you know, he just sat down and and I think he just encouraged us all as well as my mother and father.

But they had the music in them, if you know what I mean.

My father came from Rathlin Island, a traditional musician.

She was the old music hall kind of, you know, she loved the old music hall songs.

So I think a combination of all of that.

Then my next brother, Michael, he picked up the banjo.

Then Mary was singing from the time she was like in the pram.

She was just, it was, you know.

She was a star from the time she was born.
