But, yeah, and, you know, we had, you know, we had families where they were, in terms of gang, you know, they were split down the middle, you know.

It was a pretty tough area to grow up in.

It was awesome, actually.

You were free.

No one had any money, but you didn't really need a lot of money back in those days.

There wasn't a lot to spend it on, obviously.

There wasn't a lot to really take your focus away from just living life.

So we used to...

I'm sure you've heard it, you know, you used to get up in the morning and go off and spend all day roaming around with your mates and hanging out and doing whatever.

And then you go home and have dinner and then go to bed and stuff like that.

So growing up, you know, I think that's the main thing that I remember from back then was that you were free.

You know, there was a lot more sense of freedom.

And, you know, it wasn't dangerous, you know, as it seems to be now.

So, you know...

And your neighbors would, you know, you knew all your neighbors and they'd look after you and, you know, they'd feed you if you were turned up and, you know, stuff like that.

And you were friends with everybody.
