How did you find the adjustment to life after rugby?
I'm just thinking some of the stuff we've talked about, like meeting the Queen, being in New York with Rushie, all these big things.
I just wonder after that if life seems to lack a bit of colour.
Yeah.
The pace of life just feels so slow after that.
So it leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
You have this amazing career and then it just sort of ends with like a disappointment.
Do you think in hindsight there was like an element of depression there?
Possibly, yeah.
Well, it's a big part of your life and your identity and who you are as a person.
Suddenly it's no longer there.
How do you rebuild and find out what the next chapter is going to be?
It takes time just to build something new, doesn't it?
It's tough, isn't it?
