I was just going to say one thing that really surprised me yesterday and captured my attention.

romance show that's connected to hockey it's on a college campus supposed to be in Boston but it's actually in Vancouver and uh I watched it with my wife and her feedback as someone who isn't into hockey she said quote there are a lot of nipples
You know, I passed on that show, but off-campus was right up my alley for, like, for a minute.
But, hey, the commissioner, he made it a point to say that he binge-watched both shows.
He actually said that he watched Heated Rivalry in one sitting, believe it or not.
Really?
I think it was all eight episodes.
And let's be real.
Those two shows have actually been a huge contributing factor to the NHL's massive ratings increase in this country.
Yeah.
The Olympics and those two shows have helped turn the tide for the NHL in a big way.
So I have zero doubt or worry that Chris McFarlane, one of the sharpest hockey minds in the league and a true worker and grinder at every stage of his career, starting in the league office, cutting VCR tapes and working in marketing to making it to be an NHL general manager without really any playing experience to speak of.
No doubt that he'll be successful.
