Absolutely, there's risk involved.
You can't bank on Sergey Bobrovsky having a 9-12, 9-14 save percentage and the team making the playoffs just as the same way you can't count on everyone staying healthy and some of the production that maybe guys like Jack Roslevic had the past couple seasons.
There's no guarantees.
But at the end of the day...
if they just made minor tweaks or made one or two moves, they were guaranteed to be very close to as bad as they were last year.
At least this way they have a chance.
Um, you know, the Rangers, I shouldn't just guarantee it that they're better than the Rangers, but the Rangers, I don't think did, I don't think they did enough upfront to help their case, especially losing tro check.

That's how I feel about that entire development camp model.
The days of bringing 40, 50 guys to development camp and having them scrimmage every day and having all your guys sit in the stands and evaluate them and talk about which college free agent you're going to give a contract to and you're going to base it off some scrimmage in early July, it's moronic to think that that is –
like something that should be done.
